WHAT DOES THE ENTRANCE FEE PROVIDE?

Lilac Villa of Rhinelander offers you a lifetime commitment within a continuum of care. As an independent resident you will enjoy active residential living on our beautiful and spacious 40 acre lake front property. Should your health needs change, the entrance fee provides coverage in sheltered care of skilled nursing care (semi-private room). Each resident has a 60 day life-time benefit at no additional charge and 10% coverage thereafter. With the high cost of health care, this represents a potential value of thousands of dollars.

In addition to health care, the entrance fee covers the capital improvements of the buildings and grounds, thereby avoiding special assessments and insuring a well-maintained community for years to come. This pricing structure allows the monthly fees to remain compatible with most retirement incomes.

IS THERE A REFUND OF THE ENTRANCE FEE?

Yes, there is a refund of the entrance fee amortized at 2% per month over 50 months (four years, two months). Further details will be covered in the Care and Residency Agreement.

In addition, there is an early death benefit to your estate amortized at 4% per month over 25 months. In the event of the death of one resident, where there is a surviving resident, there will be a refund of the Second Person Entrance Fee amortized at 4% per month over 25 months.

Residents who want a lifetime refund benefit may select our Refundable Contract option by paying an additional 50% of the entrance fee. Please ask your marketing representative for further details.

WHAT DOES THE MONTHLY FEE PROVIDE?

The Monthly Service Fee covers the operational expenses of the community and provides for a wide variety of amenities and services. The Monthly Fee includes:

• All utilities (except telephone)
• Landscaping, building, and apartment maintenance
• Water, sewer, and refuse service
• Building insurance
• Emergency call system
• Health Office nurse available for emergency nursing and consultative nursing service
• Ongoing activity program, creative arts center, library, and woodshop
• Chaplain Program providing individual support and spiritual growth opportunities
• Regularly scheduled transportation to shopping
• Linen service
• Periodic cleaning of drapery, sheers, and carpet
• Free use of washer and dryer
• Additional Fees: Garages, meals and accommodations, beauty/barber shop service, transportation to medical appointments, and routine housekeeping services are available.
